Every Dasara, people ask the same questions. When does the procession start? Where can I watch it? Which programme is on at the palace tonight? The answers are usually spread across posters, forwards and pages that may or may not be up to date.
So AskMysuru and Fusion Minds have built one place for them. MysuruDasara.org is the single point for verified information about Mysuru and its Dasara. It is dedicated to Chāmundi Amma, the goddess of Mysuru.
Free, ad-free, forever
MysuruDasara.org will never carry advertising, and it will never charge anyone to read it. It is backed jointly by AskMysuru and Fusion Minds, without government funding, as a service to the city.
This isn't new for us. For the last two years Fusion Minds has run the Dasara live stream and the website free of cost. MysuruDasara.org makes that commitment permanent, and puts it in the open.
"This is to stop organisations, government bodies or individuals from using the website as part of billed contracts, when it could always have been free."
— Srishesh and Yashwanth of Fusion Minds, and Prashanth of AskMysuru
Information about the city's own festival belongs to the people of the city. With a site that is free and stays free, there's no reason for anyone to stand in between and charge for it.
Who's behind it
The site comes from the same partnership that has carried Dasara 2026. Prashanth of AskMysuru brings the community reach and local knowledge. Yashwanth and the Fusion Minds team build and run the technology. Praveen of Humm Designs shaped its design language. You can read more about all of them in our Dasara 2026 post.
Visit MysuruDasara.org, and if you see something that should be there, tell us.
